There you will see him.' Now I have told you." Matthew 28:6-7 The phoenix is a mythical bird that is rooted in many ancient cultures. From the Egyptian Bennu to the Japanese Hou-Ou, the bird is known for rising from the ashes of death and resurrecting. What a cool way to symbolize the resurrection of one much mightier than a mere bird. One who gives flight to all birds and life to all that lives. Christ Jesus is our Risen Savior.
